The voluntary contribution funds are the life's blood of the Society, keeping our pro-active efforts vibrant, strong, and effective. From the Legislative Action Fund (LAF) to the Political Action Committee (PAC) efforts to Scholarship, Major Media Marketing, Public Information & Awareness... All of these funds need YOUR help and support, because THEY provide crucial usefulness in supporting YOU and your professional designation. If you contribute the amount of just ONE typical tax return each year, these funds will continue to support our crucial activities.

Legislative Action Fund: The LAF was formed in 1985; it not only funds the battle against legislative attempts that may inhibit the rights of EAs to practice their proven skills, but has a positive and proactive effect on the promotion of the specific interests of EAs. Contributions to this fund support CSEA's legislative or regulatory activities on behalf of its Members and are not deductible for tax purposes.

Political Action Fund: The PAC makes contributions to candidates for elective office who have the potential for impacting pertinent state ligislation or related regulations. The PAC also funds our professional Legislative Advocate (lobbyist) who represents the rights and interests of our Members. Contributions to this fund support CSEA's lobbying activities on behalf of its Members and are not deductible for tax purposes.

Scholarship Fund:  CSEA's Scholarship Fund has awarded tens of thousands of dollars to worthy students to assist them with their education, particularly to promote the Enrolled Agent profession as a career choice. Over the past seven years, CSEA has awarded approximately $115,000 to 262 deserving students. Through the establishment of the CSEA Education Foundation, contributions to this fund now are deductible for tax purposes.
