SOS’s Eureka Chatbot Receives Prestigious Award

The California Secretary of State (SOS) received the Best Application Serving the Public award from the Center for Digital Government on September 18. The award was presented for the SOS’s Eureka Chatbot, which answers frequently asked business entity and trademark questions.
 
CSEA acknowledged the SOS’s efforts on behalf of tax preparers and taxpayers at the September 24 STALM event in Sacramento. With Eureka, Californians can get answers to their business related questions instantly. Approximately 400,000 customers contacted the SOS last year.
 
In an SOS press release, Secretary of State Alex Padilla congratulated the SOS Business Program and IT divisions for their work on this project. “We are proud that our Eureka Chatbot was recognized by the Center for Digital Government for making it easier to do business in California.”
